Community Care

Saturday, November 2nd (3)-2

Full Bloom recognizes the importance of personalized care and the comfort of familiar surroundings. We’re dedicated to supporting your loved one at home for as long as it is viable. However, there are times when home care may no longer be the most appropriate or feasible option. Should the need arise for additional care in a community setting, Full Bloom is prepared to facilitate a smooth transition to your preferred care environment.

For clients who may not have previously engaged our home care services, we provide dedicated one-on-one attention in the community, ensuring they receive the support they need. This focused approach can often allow clients to thrive in assisted living settings longer, avoiding the need to transition to more intensive memory care units—a move that can carry significant emotional weight for both the person living with cognitive impairment and their family. At Full Bloom, we adapt our services to meet the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring they receive the right level of care wherever they are.

As dementia progresses to a more severe stage, our clients may need additional hands-on support to ensure that changes in behavior don’t necessitate a move from assisted living to memory care. Full Bloom can work with your family, the community, and the residents to ensure the best quality of life.

Tasks may include:

  • One-on-one care within the community
  • Mobility support and assistance
  • Round-the-clock care
  • Deescalating challenging situations between your loved one and other residents, visitors, and community workers.
